Offspringers is run by parents, teachers and performers from Springers. The group was originally created as a 'feeder' group for Springers but has since grown into a successful and established youth theatre group in its own right. Offspringers prides itself in giving children of all abilities the opportunity to perfom a full length musical in a professional studio theatre. These shows are supported by the same dedicated production teams and resources that are used by the Springers.

Offspringers rehearse at Springfield Parish Centre, Springfield, Chelmsford 6:00pm-8:10pm every Wednesday during school term time. There are no rehearsals/activities during school holidays. Productions usually take place in March for a full week (6 performances) at the Cramphorn Theatre in Chelmsford City Centre.
